About the role

You'll play a central role in protecting the digital assets and infrastructure of clients, working across both internal and customer environments. Reporting into the Security Team, you'll balance hands-on technical delivery with consultancy, pre-sales support, and continuous improvement of security frameworks.

• Lead and support security incident response, including breach analysis and remediation as well as looking at security posture for some of NZ’s most advanced companies
• Design and maintain security controls, policies, and frameworks
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and security audits
• Deliver expert security consultancy to internal teams and external clients
• Support pre-sales activities including solution design and bid response
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Security Analyst or in a similar role within the Information & Communication Technology industry
• Strong understanding of security concepts, protocols, and best practices, including network security, endpoint security, and identity and access management
• Proficiency in using security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and incident response platform

You'll bring proven experience in a Security Analyst or similar ICT security role, with a strong grasp of network, endpoint, and identity and access management security. Proficiency with tools like SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and incident response platforms is essential, along with solid knowledge of relevant security standards and compliance frameworks. Just as important is your ability to communicate clearly and work effectively across teams — technical credibility paired with strong people skills will set you apart.
